News of the recreation center : New ultrasound diagnostic capabilities at the Berezka Health Resort from June 1, 2026

Starting June 1st, Berezka Health Resort will offer new, in-demand diagnostic services: liver elastometry (ultrasound) and prostate ultrasound. These new tests will help guests promptly assess their health, identify potential changes early, and receive recommendations from a qualified physician.

Liver elastometry—a painless and non-invasive ultrasound diagnostic method that allows you to assess the condition of liver tissue and identify possible signs of fibrosis and other changes.

Liver elastometry can be useful for:

• suspected liver disease;
• chronic inflammatory processes;
• the need to monitor liver health;
• preventive examination;
• assessing the effectiveness of treatment.

Starting June 1st, the sanatorium will also offer prostate ultrasound. This is a modern diagnostic method that allows us to determine the organ's structure, size, and volume, as well as identify focal changes, benign or malignant.

Prostate ultrasoundis recommended for the following symptoms:

• urinary dysfunction;
• urinary retention;
• lower abdominal discomfort;
• a strong family history, including a history of prostate cancer in a father or grandfather.
