Devinskoye lake

Devinskoye lake is located in the Orsha district, Vitebsk region, just 30 km north from the town of Orsha, near the villages of Devin, Zamostochie and simah. This lake belongs to the basin of the river Luchosa, nicknamed by our ancestors «fast». Village on the lake shores mostly flat, but sometimes gryadisto hilly and mostly wooded. The lake is bordered by a low ridge overgrown with scrub and woodland. The banks mostly low, overgrown with bushes, in the north of untouched forest.

Shoal Lake Devinskoye is narrow, sandy and muddy bottom at a depth and relief - sometimes petty, sometimes dives into the deep. On the lake there is a small island of about 0.2 hectares.

In Devinskoye fall about 10 creeks and canals in the north Serokotnyanka river flows, which flows into the river Luchosa; in the south of Blind River flows from Lake Ordyshevo.
