Bream

Bream (Abramis brama) — the only representative of a family of breams from family of karpovy fishes. Has the high body which has been very squeezed from sides. Has the big head with a small mouth. Teeth single-row on five from each party. Color of a body of the bream: back gray or brown, sides golden-brown, the belly yellowish, all fins gray is frequent with dark edges. At young individuals coloring silvery.
In Belarus it is widespread in all rivers, reservoirs, inundated reservoirs and in the majority of lakes. There is no it only in small fast small rivers with cold water and some small lakes. Prefer reservoirs with the slowed-down current or still water.
