Underwater backbone traktion — is an effective method of musculoskeletal device treatment the medical effec of whicht consists in combination impact of warm water and a traktion on the patient. Depending on used receptions and adaptations a number of techniques of underwater backbone traktion is developed: vertical, horizontal, method of sagging and others.
During a session of underwater backbone traktion the patient is in a bath or the pool with warm water (both fresh, and mineral water can be used). Thus muscles of the person relax and the backbone is stretched. At vertical extension a board with the patient lying on it lower in a bath with warm water by means of the special lift, fix chest and pelvic departments of a backbone and start gradually stretch by means of cargo. After extension which 15–30 minutes proceed, the patient again by means of the lift transfer on a couch.
Extension leads to a decompression of nervous structures, improves blood circulation conditions, reduces hypostasis, liquidates the jet phenomena in fabrics, reduces muscular contractures, pathological tension of muscles, promotes elimination of available incomplete dislocations of backbone disks.
