Rektosigmoskopiya

Rektosigmoskopiya- visual inspection of the lower digestive tract from the inside. The direct and sigmoid colon is examined by using a special apparatus - sigmoidoscopy, which is a flexible elastic driven probe that is inserted through the anus in a prone position on left side. Any special anesthesia for this study is not required. Sometimes it may be run under anesthesia.
