SMT-therapy - a method of electrotherapy, which is based on the impact on the patient's body AC sinusoidal currents of frequency 5000 Hz, modulated by low frequencies in the range of 10-150 Hz. Impact area depends on the nature and localization of the disease. Electric shocks may be performed on the abdominal organs, at the upper and lower extremities, on the head and vertebral region.
