Pike perch

Pike perch (Stizostedion lucioperca) — fish from family okunyovy which has rather long body with the pointed head. Back coloring greenish-gray, on each side brownish cross strips. Forward back fin prickly, tail and back are covered with dark specks. Raduzhka of an eye the yellow.
In Belarus lives in all large rivers, reservoirs and many lakes. Prefers places with clear flowing water, with a sandy and stony and pebble bottom.
