Tennitsa lake

Lake Tennitsa is located in Shumilino district Vitebsk region, 26 km north-west of Shumilino, near the village Rovnoye. The lake belongs to the basin of the river Obol, and is a member of the Republican landscape reserve Kozjansky. The area around the lake is mostly flat or low-lying, sometimes covered with dense forest and swamps. The costs of the lake are mostly low, marshy places, overgrown with shrubs and forest sites. The surface of the lake grows only slightly.

The mirror of the lake Tennitsa is 0.16 km 2, with a length of about 1 km, maximum width of 0.21 km and a maximum depth of 8.5 m, coastline length about 2.2 km. The volume of water in the lake is 0.6 million m 3.

Low shores and almost a lack of vegetation on the lake makes Tennitsa an ideal place for fishing. The lake is home to most of the famous Belarusian fish: perch, roach, bream, pike, tench and other lake fish. It is a popular place for recreation on the lakes in Belarus. Нere are organized paid recreational fishing for fishing enthusiasts.

On the shore of the lake, surrounded by mixed forest is located hunter's house «Shumilinsky», where you can stay overnight in a cozy room, visit a real Russian banya, play billiards, cook barbecue on the equipped playground - just fun and relax after a successful fishing or hunting.
