Wolf

Wolf (canis lupus).The population density of the wolf on the territory of Belarus was always rather high because of the presence of numerous wood and marsh spaces. Still there is a high population density of the wolf in northern, east and southeast parts of Belarus where drainage of bogs and cutting down of woods weren't so intensive. Actually the population of this predator makes 1,2 thousand of individuals.
