Charcot's douche is a shower of so-called intensified type, a peculiar massage performed with the help of a water jet (under high pressure - 3-4 atmospheres). Water may be hot or can change its temperature: from +35°C at the beginning of treatment to +15°C at the end.
This procedure improves spinal blood circulation, blood flow in the joints and muscles, stimulates functions of a spinal cord and brain, normalizes metabolism, contributes to the splitting of depot fat and cellulite. Contraindications to this procedure include acute inflammation, some diseases of the cardiovascular system, infectious diseases, skin diseases and pregnancy.
